Our regular club meeting is normally held on the fourth Saturday of each month (except December) at Cox Family Restaurant on Highway 70 (4109 Arendell St.) in Morehead City. We meet for breakfast at 8:00 am, with the meeting getting underway promptly at 8:30. Please park your car in the parking lot behind the barber shop and enter through the door on the east side of the building.

IMPORTANT: Due to the corona virus, we will meet in person at the Newport town park at 8:30 am, bring your own breakfast, wear a mask, and practice social distancing. If you prefer, you can join the meeting by Zoom. If you plan to join via Zoom and do not have the log in information, email

CCARS is now authorized by ARRL to administer online FCC license testing. If you are ready to be tested for a new license or an upgrade of your present license, we will be happy to administer the test by appointment. For information, send an email to
